Moving back toward normalcy

The disaster recovery plan also states the activities to be performed after the disaster ends. At the end of the disaster, the operation moves from the backup site to the normal site and all normal operations are restored. This includes restoration of last backups from the backup site, etc.
There must be instructions to make this switch over as quickly as possible.
Once this is done, the backup site gets decommissioned.
A review of the plan's effectiveness takes place, with any changes recommended by the reviewing committee are then integrated into the plan.
